About Lou Tulga

Lou Tulga was born in North Platte, Nebraska and then moved to Brookings, South Dakota. As a teenager Lou grew up in Chicago, Illinois. Lou received a BA and then an MA from Wheaton College. Lou obtained a Ph.D. in Ancient History from The Ohio State University and then was hired as Assistant Professor of History by the University of New Mexico.

Lou became a New Mexico real estate broker in 1973 and established and brokered his own Century 21 Nationwide Realty. In 1984 Lou was QB of a leading commercial real estate brokerage: Walker-Hinkle Real Estate and soon after was the National Association Commercial real estate credential: CCIM and also CRB for brokerage management.

Lou served on the Realtor Association of New Mexico’s first Strategic Committee and became President in 1990. Lou served as a Director of the National Association of Realtors for a number of years and served as Chairman of it Commercial Investment and Risk Reduction committees.
Lou has been approved by the New Mexico Real Estate Commission to teach some twenty real estate courses and instructs real estate brokers for license renewal credit through Professional Education Services. Lou has been a Realtor for over fifty years and shares his knowledge and extensive brokerage experience.
